Božičkovi pomočnici in novo leto

Božični večer smo preživeli na Dolenjskem pri moji babici in dedku. Luna je bila povsem neučakana, ko je Božiček prinesel darila - samo sladkarije oz. suho sadje za vsakega od nas, saj smo bili tam sami odrasli. Luna je dobila eno palčko in prepečenec in bila navzoča (in sitna) že pri zavijanju daril :o) Tako je lahko darilo odprla že pred večerjo.




We were at my grandma and grandpa for Chirstmas eve. Luna couldn't wait no longer when Santa brought presents - just some sweets and dry friut, because there were only grown ups. Luna got one chewing stick and dry bread (she loves it) and she had to open the present before dinner :o) She was naughty and annoying already when I was wraping the gifts.

Novo leto smo pričakali nekaj nadtropij višje, pri moji sestri in svaku (in dojenčku v trebuhu). Luna je bila povsem prestrašena zaradi vseh raket in petard in je večer preživela v kopalnici, ki je edina brez oken, ob spremljavi Abbe, Siddharte in drugih pesmi. Ko sem jo ob 21.30 peljala ven lulat, sem jo mogla nesti čez celo ulico, ker je kar ležala na tleh - in z njenimi 16 kg to ni ravno mačji kašelj.



We were "expecting" NY a few floors higher at my sister and her husband (and little baby in her tummy). Luna was sooooo scared beacuse of all the craking of bangers and rockets. She slept in the bathroom, which is the only room without windows and she listend to Abba and Siddharta, so she couldn't here much noise from outside. When I took her out at 9.30 PM I had to carry her home through all our street which isn't quite piece of cake, because she has 16 kg.

No, ne ravno božičkova pomagačica, je kar moja. Tudi izdelava adventnega venčka ni smela minit brez Luninega nadzora in preizkušanja "sestavin". Na vsak način je hotela jest kavo, vejo je pa itak zgrizla. :o)

Well, not exactly Santa's. She didn't want to miss the making of advent wreath and to taste the "ingredients" for it. She wanted to eat coffee and she did bite the wood :o)

Najdi Luno / Find Luna

Nimam časa, da bi redno poročala o novostih še pri Luni. Lunči je v zadnjem času postala kar priden kuža, sploh, kadar vsak dan dobi daljši sprehod. Takole je uživala prejšnji teden v Mostecu, potem ko se je naparfumirala z ekstremno smrdljivo stvarjo in si prislužila dvojno šamponiranje. Konec leta (predvidoma) se z Luno selimo v novo stanovanje. Držite pesti in tačke, da bo novosti dobro sprejela. Kotičke za lulanje in kakanje sem že naštudirala. :o)

I don't have time to post regularly about Luna. She became more good doggie lately - the more long walks she gets, the more nice she is. This photo is from Mostec - we were there last week and the photo was taken after her really really smelly perfuming. She got dobule shampooing after it for a reward. In the end of the year we're moving to the new apartment if everything goes well. Keep you fingers and paws crossed that she'll adapt the new enviorment without too many troubles. I've already studied places for our walks :o)

We're baaaack

Here we are again. We (me, my BF and his son) had a great time on our road trip from Slovenia to England & Wales. We saw so much nice beaches, cliffs and landscape, did a bit of shopping and so on and so forth. :o) Luna was staying at home with my parents and sister, she was safe and sound. I brought her only cookies form Pets at home and bought myself a Wales dragon, which is OF COURSE very interesting, just like Nessie, who fits in Luna's muzzle perfectly, you know :o) Well, until she doesn't ruin my toys, I don't care much if she tries to hide them when we leave her home alone.

This week only me, Luna and my BF are defending our fortress because my family is enjoying their holidays at the seaside. A. and Luna talk pretty much this days and I have to laugh to their dialogs :o) This pictures are mostly from today. Not much to compliment, but still funny :o)

Kofce in Bovec

Prejšnjo nedeljo smo šli na izlet na Kofce. Lunči je imela ves čas družbo, saj smo srečali beaglico Ulo in njeno družino. Na jasi na pol poti smo ju malo spustili, da sta naredili tri kroge, da sta potem lažje dale ena drugi mir, da smo vsi ostali lahko hodili :o) Na planšariji je bilo kar nekaj kužkov, med drugim tudi zelo prijazna psička, stafordka oz. nekaj podobnega, katere se Luna začuda ni bala in je ni nalajala, pač pa jo je le z distance šla povohat in jo je pustila na miru. Jaz pa sem v zameno dobila en kup pasjih poljubčkov od rjave lepotičke. Ko smo pobožali še konje in pogledali krave od daleč, smo odšli nazaj proti avtu, takrat pa se je Luna odločila, da je očitno pastirski pes in je začela vpit, cvilit in lajat za kozami, ki so hodile nekaj metrov pred nami. Po dobrih 10 minutah smo jih k sreči ujeli, da je bil končno mir. Luna je pogumno zakorakala v čredico, od tam pa jo je prepodila največja koza (morda kozel?) :o)

Včeraj pa smo se spet potepali, smo šli v Bovec na družinski piknik. Luna je sicer veliko časa preživela v svojem boksu, vmes pa sva šli še malo naokrog. Nazadnje tik pred ploho. Luno sem malo spustila, saj ni bilo nikjer nikogar, potem pa je želela it nekam po svoje proti letališču (veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelik travnik, zraven pa glavna cesta, pod šotorom pa otroci, hrana in ljudje) in sem jo komaj ulovila, zraven pa še prav "prijetno" padla po tleh kakor sem dolga in široka. Še dobro, da obe meri nista prav veliki :o) Aha, saj res - vmes sva z očijem šla še do Čezsoče, da je Luna namočila tačke. Zdaj pa bo dva tedna doma z mojimi starši, saj mi odhajamo na počitnice v Anglijo oz. Wales. :o) Se vidimo konec julija!

Last Sunday we went to mountain Kofce. There we met beagle Ula so Luna had company all the time. They played on a meadow when we were half way up. At the top there were many dogs and also horses, cows and goats, who didn't get Luna's attention at first. At the lodge there was really nice stafford girl which Luna didn't bark at and wasn't affraid of her! She sniffed her and went away and I've got many wet kisses instead :o) I'm so glad, because Luna's affraid of staffords and simmilar breeds so she usually barks really loud at them. When we were going back down to the car Luna decided that she is a shephard. She screamed, barked and cried for ten minutes when we finally reached a small group of goats who was walking in front of us. Luna bravely jumped to them but the biggest goat showed her where her spot is :o)

Yesterday we went to Bovec on our traditional family picnic. Luna was in her transporter most of the time but we made some short walks also. Our last walk was just before it started raining again and I unleashed Luna because no one was there. But she changed her mind and want to run away to the airport (huuuuuge meadow and main road next to it and kids and food and other people under the tent). I hardly managed to hold her and when trying to reach her I fell as I'm long and wide. Luckily I'm not so long and wide :o) Oh, yes. We also went to river Soča to put Luna's paws into the water. :o) Now Luna is staying at home with my parents and we're going on a road trip to England and Wales. See you in late July xoxo

Vodni pes

Spet sledijo poročila z izletov, kjer se je Luna predvsem kopala. Jaz ne vem, kaj je temu psu, ampak v vsako lužo rine. Slikce s Cerkniškega jezera sem hotela objavit že nazadnje, pa sem bila preveč žalostna zaradi Gabbi. Gabbi je umrla zaradi odpovedi ledvic :o(

Water dog

Pictures from trips, again. Luna was swimming most of the time. I don't know what is with this dog, but she goes to every puddle. I wanted to post photos from lake Cerknica sooner, but I was too sad for Gabbi. She died because of kidney failure :o(

Cerkniško jezero s Seno - bilo je mrzlo, Lune ni motilo :o) Punci sta noreli okrog, potem pa sva ju zaradi varnostnih razlogov raje pripela. Srečali smo še Žano, pa so vse tri imele irokezo. :o)

Lake Cerknica with Sena - it was cold, but Luna didn't bother :o) The girls runned around like crazy but we put them on leads due to saftey reasons. We also met Sena's sister Žana but they were very polite to each other.

Before I give away my aprons and bags (and any other crafts) they have to be approved by strict control. Sometimes inspection comes to me between the proces of making or even when I only prepare material :o) The name of inspector is Inspector Fatty :o)

First in 2011

OMG! It's already 18 days in 2011 and I didn't post anything on Luna's blog. What a shame. But - I have a really proper excuse. It's time for our winter exams on faculty so I have had a really busy busy january so far - dealing with projects and exams and it's not over yet. So I'll just post one photo of Luna from our Saturday walk on Jakob, near Ljubljana. It was warm and it felt like in autnum. I don't like it! It's winter so we must have snow!


Oh, and I found this while browsing for photos. This is one early morning last week when I wanted to dress her in her raincoat, becaouse it was raining and I didn't had time to shower her, couse I was in a hurry not to miss my classes. She was hiding under my table, lol! :o)

September

We were so busy with other things this month that I didn't have time (and will) to write something here. Last weekend in August we celebrated boy's 6th B-day, than he went to school for the first time and we made 1. september very special to him. We went to the seaside, to Trieste in Italy, Luna was of course with us but she didn't have an opportunity to swim.

Last weekend we were at my grandparents and on Sunday me and my BF went to mountain Ojstrnik in Austria - actually there is a border between Italy and Austria. :o) Luna was very happy and she was the fastest, of course :o) On the top of this 2052m tall mountain she wasn't behaving very nice because she was constantly begging for our sandwiches but for opposite she was really good girl when walking down - she was off leashed all most all the way down because the path was really steep and it was the safest way to get down for all of us if Luna was off leashed.





The last three days we had A LOT of rain here and we have floods, even in Ljubljana. We luckily live away from streams and rivers, it's concrete everywhere around us, so we're safe. But only few minutes froum our home it was awful. Since it rained so much Luna didn't want to go out or even pee ouside, but on Friday, two hours later, when we came to PST (a walk of remembrance) she became liveful again :o) I unleashed her and she escaped to the swamp full of water and didn't want to come back so I had to go there and catch her. The water (and mud) was high to my knees and my wellies leak anyways. :o) When we went to the walk toady in the afternoon, when it finaly stopped raining, we went again to flooded areas and Luna wanted to swim on the street. She really ins't very smart, I tell you. She played with dirt and leaves in the water. She so silly. :o)

Koča v Krnici

Last Sunday we took Sena with us, because her family went to some festival for families and it was too crowdy to take Sena with them. And because we don't want to leave poor doggies home alone, we took her with us :o) We went to Gorenjska, on a nice walk through the valley by the river Velika Pisnica - here is the home of Kekec, who is slovene famous fearless young herdsman :o) Sena was of course again very good doggie, we hardly new that she's with us. Luna was a total opposite, as always. So my BF chose Sena to handle and I've got Luna but I took advantage of Luna's pulling :o) She help me walking on slope and pulled me up :o) It was a nice, hot walk, which seemed to be shorter when reading about it in the book ... :o)

Luna & lubenica

Luna bi pojedla celo lubenico, če bi ji pustili. Ampak zaradi neljubih izkušenj iz naših prvih dni sobivanja, ji le-to omejimo na nekaj koščkov na dan :o)

Luna would eat the whole watermelon, if we let her. But since we have not-so-much-nice memories from our firts days living together, we give her only few bites a day. :o)

Sena na obisku, z Žajo k svizcem in Senin rojstni dan

Prejšnji vikend smo imeli Seno na obisku. Senka je res en pokvarjen beagle, ker je tako pridna in mirna :o) Zelo hitro se je adaptirala na "naš" način življenja doma - kar pomeni dovoljeno spanje na kavču in postelji :o) Tako sta Sena in Luna res zelo zelo trpeli, ker sta cel vikend počivali in se valjali po posteljah. Ker je bilo vreme slabo in ker sem se jaz mogla učit še za zadnji izpit, smo šli samo v soboto na dolg sprehod na PST, ki je bil praktično prazen, tako da sta lahko divjali po svoje.

One weekend before the last one we had Sena over for a weekend. She's really lovely doggy and she got used to "our life" very quickly. With "our life" I mean permission to sleep on the sofa and in my bed. :o) Sena adapted practicaly right away. Luna and Sena really really suffered, you know! Because the weather wasn't nice and I had to learn for my last exam, we didn't do any special trips. But we took one of our common walks on PST, which was practicaly empty, and Sena and Luna were able to run free and even play for a while.


V petek pa smo šli v Italijo, nasproti Sella Nevee, pod Montaž oz. Viš (Jof di Montasio), na planino Pecol. Planina je polna svizcev, kljub vročini in dokaj neprimerni uri, smo jih videli kakih 5, 6, ampak niso prišli kaj dosti blizu, verjetno zaradi sopihajočih psov. Luna in Žaja, ki smo jo vzeli s seboj, sta jih namreč vohali mnogo več kot 5,6 in vlekli na vse strani. Ker je bilo vroče in toliko vonjav, sta bili čisto zasopihani, sem mislila, da bo Luno še kap zadela! :o) Obe pa sta bili navdušeni nad snegom na melišču, se ga najedli in čepeli tam. Kužka sta bila na koncu prijetno utrujena in najbrž zadovoljna, ko smo prišli nazaj v Kranjsko Goro in odpeljali Žajo domov.

On friday we went to Italy, near our border, under the mountain Jof di Montasio, which is near Sella Nevea and slovene Kanin, where we ski during the winter. This mountain, called Pecol, is full of marmots, we saw 5 or 6, but Luna & Zaja (also Luna's younger auntie) sniffed them many more. It was sunny and hot and the dogs didn't behave because of all those smells. It was quite hard to do a decent hiking with them, but we managed :o) They were both very excited when we reached snow under the rocks :o) The water wasn't good enough to drink, the snow was more delicious. Both doggies were plesant and tired when we came back to Zaja's home.

V soboto je spet prišla Sena na obisk, ampak je s seboj pripeljala še svoje tri punce. V bistvu smo na nek način Senkin rojstni dan praznovali že v soboto - vsaj mi, za kužke ni bilo torte, ker je meni RD čisto ušel iz glave, glede na to, da nisem odpirala planerja že od četrtka, ko sem končala z izpitom :o) Po tortah in igranju je spet sledil dolg sprehod na PST-ju. VSE NAJBOLJŠE, Lunina najljubša tetka! :o) Vse najboljše seveda tudi Xsari, ki je prav tako praznovala v nedeljo.

On Saturday Sena visited us again, but brought her three girls with her. We kind of celebrated her 6th B-day :o) After playing and eating cake (no doggy cake, unfortunatly) we had a long walk on PST again. Happy 6th B-day Luna's favorite aunty Sena! And we shouldn't forget to wish a very happy B-day to Xsara to!

Tromeja

Yesterday we went on Tromeja (1509m) - we walked for 2 and a half hours upwards and one hour and 15 minutes downwards. It was very hot, because we started walking at 11.40 am. Luna was behaving well, she was constantly seeking for some watrefalls to take a bath, but they were too little :o) But .. she also DIDN'T behave well.

- eat some cow poop
- rolled over dead mole
- almost ate dead mouse or something similar .. yuck!

Tromeja is a juncture of three borders - Slovenian, Italian and Austrian. The views were wonderful and breath taking. Can't tell instead Luna, but can tell that my legs, my but, my arms .. oh, everything hurts so much today!

So much to do, so little time ...

I have a busy month on faculty so I don't have much time to read dogs blogs and of course I don't have time to update Luna's blog.

Yesterday we went to Skofja Loka and on Soriska planina and Luna took her pig with her. It's totaly chewed up, I brought it for her from London. She takes it everywhere we go.

Spring is here ... Luna didn't listen at all, she just jumped here and there ... but we had fun! :o)

Ronny in Luna

V soboto smo se v Tivoliju dobili z Ronnyjem in njegovo družino. Tečka in prijazni kuža sta se najprej igrala na pasji poljani v Tivoliju, potem pa smo odšli še peš na Rožnik - čez cel Tivoli do Čada in po drugi strani nazaj. Luna je bila prav prijetno utrujena, Ronny pa menda tudi. Sicer pa se ne dogaja nič posebnega - začel se je poletni semester, tako da imam spet manj časa, Luna ima po novem mednarodno polnoletno lastnico, kateri je kar 3x pomagala pihat svečke na torti :o)

On Saturday we met with Ronny & his family in Tivoli. Bad (Luna) & good (Ronny) beagle sort of played on dog plain in Tivoli, there was still snow, and than we went to Roznik and all the way round. It was very nice and Luna was pleasntly tired and so was Ronny. It's not happening much here - the summer semester started, so I don't have much time, Luna now "own" international adult owner - she helped me blow the candles three times :o)

Igrače

Moja Luna ima najraje glasne igrače - tem bolj piskajo, boljše so. Rada ima tudi teniške žogice, ampak najboljše so tiste, ki jih uspe pregriznit in pokajo, ko jih žveči v gobcu in jih noče spustit. Uživa ob (pre)glasnem cviljenju Cuza. Rada nosi okrog tudi moje igrače, ki njen seveda niso namenjene. Nessie s Škotske je tako našla svoj doma na najvišji omari v dnevni sobi. Moja roza riba je po več kot tednu dni na okenski polici v spalnici spet našla svoj dom na moji postelji. Ko je sama doma ali pa ko se ji zdi, da se ji ne posvečam(o) dovolj, potem iz sobe prinese highland kravo ali EasyJet medvedka Gulliverja ali pa ovco z Irske, ki mi jo je prinesla teta. Morda si pa neizmerno želi v Veliko Britanijo :o) No, kakorkoli, ugotovila sem še eno Lunino obsesijo - očitno ima najraje gluhe igrače. Vsem igračam z ušesi najprej pogrize ali odgrizne ušesa. Njen medvedek, ki je dober je za skrivanje v postelje in jokanje gor in dol po stanovanju, je revež doživel amputacijo ušes. Muca ima tudi pregriznjene uhlje, njena riba pa jih k sreči nima :o)

Nočni pohodi so se že precej umirili. Tudi spat gre spet po zajtrku. Moj pridni kuža :o)

Tako pa zgleda, ko imamo pol metra snega. Luna noro uživa. Toliko bolj, ker jo skoraj vsak dan (včasih celo večkrat) spuščam na travniku, kadar ni otrok. Trikrat sva šle brez povodca tudi čez cesto in do doma!

Luna loves very loud toys - more they squeek, better they are. She also likes tennis balls, but those, which are chewed inside and they crack when she chews the ball in her mouth. She really enjoy in (to) loud squeeking of Cuz. She also like to carry around my plush toys, when I'm gone or when she thinks that we don't give her enough attention. So Nessie from Scotland now lives on the higher armoire in the living room. My pink fish Sting finnaly came back on my bed after being on window shelf for more than one week. She carries around also highland cow, EasyJet bear Gulliver and a sheep from Ireland, which my aunt brought me. Maybe Luna just deseperatly wants to go to United Kingdom :o) Anyway, as I found out, Luna also likes deaf toys. All toys with ears get chewed ears or they even loose them. Her teady bear, which is good only to hide it in our beds or to walk around the flat and cry, has no ears - Luna amputated them. Cat also got her ears chewed and Luna's fish luckily has no ears :o)

Her night walking around and crying is almost gone. She also goes back to sleep after eating breakfast. It's not completely ok, but it's way better. My good dog :o)

And this is how it looks like when we have 0,5m of snow :o) Luna is so happy and she is even more happy beacuse I unleash her almost every day on our meadow, when ther's no children around.

Problemi s spanjem

Doma že skoraj dva tedna ne spimo - Luna se je odločila, da se bo med 5. in 7. zjutraj sprehajala po stanovanju in zraven cvilila in težila za hrano. Sprehaja se iz spalnice v mojo sobo in nazaj ... tudi, ko ob 5:15 dobi zajtrk (katerega je prej dobivala med 6. in 7.30), ne gre nazaj spat, kar je sicer vedno naredila. Večerjo dobiva normalno med 17.20 in 18.00 in dobiva količinsko celo več hrane, odkar smo zamenjali dieto (hranljivo oz. kalorično naj bi bilo enako). Nimam več idej, kaj naj sploh naredim. Včeraj je svoj zoprni pohod začela že ob 2.30, danes sem jo malo pred 5. uro zjutraj zaprla v boks, kjer je bila celih 10 minut, potem je pa spet začela cvilit. Vsi smo zaspani cel dan, ker pes ne spi in se zmišljuje, Luna pa itak nadomesti čez dan vse. Grrrr. Kakšna ideja, kaj se dogaja v njeni glavi? Sprehodov nismo spreminjali, občasno sicer zvečer ne kaka, ampak to ne vpliva na njen ritem nočnega sprehajanja.

We're not sleeping for almost 2 weeks now - Luna decided that she will wake up at 5 in the morning and walk around the house crying and begging for food for two hours. She walks from parents bedroom to my room and so on .. even when you give her breakfast (which she normally eats between 6 am and 7.30 am) at 5:15, she doesn't go to sleep. She eats her dinner normaly from 5.20 to 6 pm and she's getting more food than she used to, because we switched her diet and the amount of food is bigger. I don't have a clue what to do .. yesterday she stareted her walking around at 2.30 am, today I put her in her box for 10 minutes at 4:45 and then she started crying again and I let her out. We're all sleepy all day long, Luna doesn't care because she sleeps anyway. Grrrr. Any ideas what is going on in her head? Her walks are as usual, she sometimes doesn't poop in the evening, but this doesn't change her night walks rythm.

Darila

Luna letos najbolj uživa v odpiranju daril. Ko smo dali darila pod smreko, je dve uri (pred večerjo) kar naprej hodila okrog in po darilih in vohala, kaj se skriva notri. In ker je bila očitno zelo pridna, ji je Dedek Mraz prinesel super darila :o) Dobila je novo ovratnico, povodec One of us is a dirty dog, novega Cuza (vse to še iz Škotske), novo kostko z imenom in številkami in eno plišasto žabico. Aja, pa copatke seveda :o) To je bilo kupljeno bolj za hec kot zares, ker sem vedela, da Luna tako ali tako ne bo hotela tega nosit. Ampak ker se je sestra preselila v novo stanovanje in je njen fant rekel, da bo lahko Luna samo v copatkih gor hodila, sem jih morala kupit na Škotskem :o) Luna jih seveda noče nosit, pa še dol ji padajo, je pa zelo zabavno jo gledat :o)

Luna is this year enjoying in opening presents. She was walking around presents (and on them!) for two hours before we opened them after dinner. As she was obviously very good this year, she got nice presents from Grandpa Frost. She got new collar, lead One of us is a dirty dog, new red Cuz (all this bought on Scotland), new bone tag with name and telephone numbers and plush frog. And also doggy slippers :o) This slippers were bought more for fun than for real, cause my sister moved in a new flat and ker BF said that Luna will must have slippers when visiting. So I desperatly needed to buy them on Scotland :o) Luna of course doesn't like to wear them and they're felling of, but she's really funny when she has them on :o)

Mission imposible

Luna je v Planici v nedeljo vztrajno iskala jelenčke. Zaradi pasje in naše varnosti oz. želje, po skupnem povratku domov v doglednem času, sva si povodec ovijala okrog rok, za manjšo možnost nenadnega izginotja lovskega smrčka. No, enkrat bi ji privoščila, da gre gonit, ampak z zagotovilom, da pride nazaj po dveh urah, da se ji vmes nič ne zgodi in da ona koga ne poškoduje. Hm, mission imposible :o)

Luna was desepretly seeking for raindeers on sunday. Because of our and dog safety or our wish to come home together in normal time, we holded Luna's leash very tightly and wrapped it around our hands, to make the chances of escaping smaller. Well, I would really like to let her once go hunting IF she would come back in two hours, that she wouldn't get hurt or that she wouldn't hurt anybody. Hm, mission imposible :o)
